Blackout Shades
Blackout shades are a great addition to any type of window treatment. It allows the option to stop the majority of the light filtering in the room. It can stop the glare on the television, allow you to sleep without the morning sun and also on the hot summer days it can save energy. Blackout shades can be layered underneath drapery or sheer shades. You can have it attached to your shade or use it separately for the best of both worlds.
Window Treatment Options
Roman Shades
One of the most popular styles of shades. Roman shades provide great benefits- they are stylish and reliable and there are many fabrics to choose from to match the style of your home. Roman shades generally come as a single piece of fabric, which drops down, giving a smooth appearance, but when raised, it stacks to form an evenly-spaced ribbed structure.
Pleated Shades
Pleated shades are great at keeping your view unobstructed when rolled up. When raised they compress tightly and are easy to march the aesthetic of your home with many fabrics to choose from. You can also upgrade pleated shades by going with cordless shades which also provide child safety.
Cellular Shades
These are great practical shades that give great privacy, can block out light very well, and provide insulation from the air coming from your windows. These windows help keep your home insulated from cold winter winds and warm summer air. You also have the option to choose between the bottom-up or the top-down feature. This allows you to either lift the shade to the top of your window or lower it down to the window sill. You also have light control by choosing from many different fabrics.
